Peter Botros
Peter Botros brings nearly two decades of experience in the Building Management Systems (BMS) and Controls industry. Beginning his career as a graduate engineer, he progressed through senior engineering, project management, and commercial leadership roles, gaining direct experience across design, delivery, commissioning, maintenance, tender reviews, and business development.
After moving into consultancy in 2022, Peter recognised a common challenge across the industry: procurement, implementations and maintenance models often prioritised upfront costs over long term building performance, while insufficient investment in people, quality, and lifecycle outcomes limited the value delivered to building owners.
These experiences led to the creation of iBMS in 2025. Built on the principles of independence, technical excellence, and client advocacy, iBMS was established to help building owners, facilities teams, consultants, and contractors achieve better outcomes from their building technology investments.
Peter’s mission is simple – to help clients make more informed decisions.
